Careers Office Manager:
St Bernard’s College is an all boys’ Marist Catholic Year 7-13 College and we are seeking to fill a part time position in our very busy Careers office. This would suit someone wanting to work in school term time only.
The work involves finding work placements, monitoring of placements and courses, maintaining all paperwork, bookings, and managing all the resources the Department is responsible for.
The Manager needs to be able to communicate well with students, staff, and outside providers and employers. They also need to be able to implement the work set by the HOD as well as work independently when required.
Essential skills: Computer literate; excellent communication skills; discretion; initiative and ability to work with people of all ages and cultures.
Careers is a very interesting area to work in and offers tremendous professional development.
